GLOBAL COLLABRATION

The maritime industry faces significant challenges today, from climate change to digitalisation and decarbonisation, but the industry's core values remain unshaken, global cooperation is the key. Ms. Mie J. Jakobsen, Head of Marine, Danish Export Association, commented, "Even I would say that in Denmark we have a strong maritime industry and I am sure that many countries would say that we cannot work alone. This is like a global industry, the maritime industry is a global issue and we have to work together across countries and across borders. These are global partnerships, not national partnerships. I think it is very important to emphasis that we need this global community”. Speaking at the German Pavilion, the largest national pavilion at Marintec China, Mr. Hauke Schlegel, Managing Director of VDMA Marine Equipment Systems, said, "We need exhibitions, you can get information about technologies on the internet or other platforms, but to meet the people who are responsible, who understand your needs, to get in touch with them and feel if these are people you can trust, or you can build a company for a long-term reliable relationship. And this is necessary with these huge technological challenges that we have, we need a good corporation”.

Marintec China is committed to be the driving force behind this positive change, uncover the possibilities, forge partnerships, and position your business for growth in the heart of the maritime powerhouse.
