The Shanghai Municipal People's Government has issued the Action Plans of Shanghai to Boost Confidence, Expand Demand, Stabilize Growth, and Promote Development recently covering 10 actions and 32 measures. The purpose of these plans is to promote market expectations and confidence with might and main, encourage socioeconomic development, and strive to achieve major socioeconomic targets of the year.

The Paragraph 4 in Action 3 Restore and Enhance Consumption states that the Government supports the restoration of the exhibition industry, drives the recovery of all exhibitions, enhance the capacity of the industry, and provide support to exhibition projects that are recognized by worldwide authorities with global impact.
The Return of Marintec China 2023
As one of the biggest economies in the world, China has a significant impact on global development and China’s economy is expected to rebound fast and quick. The global situation and maritime industry have undergone tremendous changes in the past four years. Senior Maritime Forum will be held from 4 – 7 December 2023. The Forum will still continue with the 5+1 session setting. There will be five fixed sessions – "Keynote Speech", "Shipbuilding and Ocean Engineering", "Smart Shipping and Ports", "Maritime Finance and Law" and "Marine Technology and Equipment", and a special session – "Luxury Cruise Ships".
At Marintec Innovation Zone, there will be a designated "Marintec Cruise & Interiors” zone, in addition to the invitation of relevant enterprises for showcasing their innovations.

Shanghai Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SSNAME)
Shanghai Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SSNAME) was founded on
25 February 1951 and has more than 5000 individual members and over 60 group members at the moment. The professional range of SSNAME covers academic and technical exchanging, exhibiting, popularization of science, editing, and publishing as well as scientific consulting in the field of naval architect and marine engineering.
SSNAME has established friendly cooperation with 14 overseas maritime engineering societies to promote bilateral and multilateral exchanges and cooperation. It’s one of the Sponsors of Pan Asian Association of Maritime Engineering Society (PAAMES), and elected as the first president. SSNAME is also a member of the World Maritime Technology Congress and hosted WMTC’18 which was held in December 2018.
As it always adheres to innovation and development, SSNAOE has achieved great success in academic exchange, scientific popularization, editing and publishing, international intercourse and organization optimization over years of endeavor.
